PRINCE MOON BEAM
PRINCE MOON BEAM
Moon is a Mr. President
Grandson, and a Pride of
Princess Great Grandson. He
is homozygous for the cream
gene AND the agouti gene.
This means he will NOT
produce any smokey black
foals. You will always get a
dilute color foal from Moon.
He is beautiful inside and out,
with a gentle temperament,
correct conformation and one
great sense of humor. He
shows good reach in his Fox
Trot, and has a slow elevated
canter. Moon's foals are
known for their extremely
gentle, people-loving
temperaments, and seem to
show his same willingness to
learn and enjoy unusual
situations.

SINGLE MISSOURI FOX TROTTER STALLION seeks beautiful, well gaited
mares for one, two or three night stands. Handsome and hard working,
willing and easy going, can do the foxtrot barefoot all night long.
PALOMINO and BUCKSKIN babies my specialty, NO smokey blacks.
Tested at U.C. Davis.
IMPORTANT TEST RESULTS ARE HERE !!!!!
Moon has been tested at U.C. Davis and is HOMOZYGOUS for the gene that restricts black pigment
to the mane, tail and legs, creating the buckskin pattern. This means he will NOT produce any
smokey black foals when bred to mares who contribute black. We had suspected this because of
his breeding results of only palomino and buckskin foals, and now the proof is here.
Besides entertaining visiting mares, Moon has also been
very busy playing a little golf, doing a little gardening,
cooking some of his favorite dishes, and relaxing around
his pool. We have captured some of these moments and
they are now available on Moon's own greeting cards.
How it All Began......
We discovered Moon had a wonderfully curious nature soon after we brought him
home as an two year old stallion. It was not long before we were politely asking
him if he would be interested in participating in some slightly different
advertising ideas in order to show folks just how easy going he really is. Our
first attempt involved bringing Moon into the kitchen for a few still photos. This
was the resulting stallion service ad.
Moon was a natural at working in the kitchen, and he also excelled at
foxtrotting...in hand, under saddle and in harness, so the mares came to visit,
just as he hoped they would.
Some of the other reasons
are explained below.
